Slow Tourism Club

The farmhouse is composed of 4 units fully refurbished by respecting the environment and the authentic Tuscany building traditions. The farmhouse proposes 3 different ways of enjoy holidays: (1) it is possible to stay in comfortable en-suite rooms; (2) in one of the 5 independent apartments with living room, kitchenette, working fireplace, ventilators, telephone, internet plug, linen and towels or (3) in the independent villa “Casa del Mugnaio” with private garden. There are 8 rooms located in the main house, named “podere Casabella” and the other 3 are in the separate building “podere Casanova”, 250 mt. away from “Casabella”, towards Fattoria Lavacchio. Every room is en suite, has a TV set, telephone, internet plug, a ventilator, independent heating, free WiFi connection, safe, minibar. The rooms have been furnished with a special care for details and for Tuscany’s traditions. Each room has its own name dedicated to a home-made wine of the organic farm or to a variety of oliveyard. There is also the opportunity to stay in the villa with private swimming pool (up to 10 people).

Well Done!
As the farmhouse produces organic products, it  puts daily some extra care for the environment preservation. As a matter of fact, the owners use energy-saving bulbs, ecological detergents, recycled paper and they collect waste separately. Guests are always suggested to reduce waste. There is also one room equipped for disabled people. It is possible to make guided tours and tasting in the farmhouse winery or in the windmill and oil mill. The owners are happy to organise cooking classes or pottery courses.

Around the table
The farmhouse’s menu is based on local typical products, on IGP, DOP (quality-certified) products and “0-Km” or organic produces.
Every morning, breakfast is served in a buffet with delicious home-made jams and cakes; local hams and cheese; seasonal fruits and yoghurt.

Surroundings
The facility is only 18 Km away from Florence, one of the most famous art city of Italy. Also Siena (80 Km away) and its hilly countryside are easily reachable.

Prices vary depending on the typology of room/apartment chosen and on the period:
double-room bedroom, low seaon: € 120 (B&B); high season  € 160 (B&B);
suite room low season € 160 (B&B); high season € 200 (B&B)
Two-room apartments: low season € 700 per week; high season 920 € per week
Villa : low season € 1.800 per week; high season: € 3.000 per week
